Ad of the Day: Purina Pawsway

Ya know those times when you try really hard to like something, like a really horrible gift or shitty picture that everyone else seems to love? For me, this is one of those times. I really want to like this campaign, but I’m having a hard time finding anything redeeming about it. I keep staring at it hoping for some light to go off, some miraculous event to change how I’m seeing these pieces. Needless to say, it hasn’t happened, and still I dislike the ads.

Sorry, Mr. Simon Craig, but your copy sucks balls. Not only did you create stupid word-plays and puns, but you did it on purpose. If I were Donald Trump I’d say, “You’re fired!” However, since I’m not the Trump-miser, I’ll leave it at, “What the hell were you thinking?”
