Ad of the Day: Chevrolet
This, my friends, is what I refer to as the ‘one ad, three ways.’ Also known as the ‘They should’ve stuck with one piece’ campaign. I mean at least reword the line for each piece so they aren’t identical. The concept works for a single ad but needs to be illustrated in a different manner within each ad. Either adjust the line for each one or create different way to accompany the line for each one. In ad school, this campaign would’ve gotten a D+ for sheer repetition and lack of insight. If it were a single piece, I’d give it a A-.
