A portfolio / blog site blasting out of a slightly crazy, possibly a bit ADD, but definitely unique mind.

Ad of the Day: McDonald’s

Need to chill out? Wanna cool down from the summer heat? McD’s wanted to spread the word about their amazingly chill $1 drinks, so they put it in ice.

Yes, it’s a BIG ice block (7 feet tall and weighing in at about 8,000 pounds) inlaid with 4,000 sparkling loonies (it’s in Canada, eh.) to form the tell-tale golden arches. My only problem with this concept is the longevity, but they encouraged people to beak the thing apart to get to the money inside. They turned this ice sculpture into the center piece for a festival of sorts, complete with a DJ, limbo and other games, street teams, contests and other giveaways.
