Ad of the Day: Whole Foods
Whole Foods is the premier in natural and organic groceries. They seem to be the premier in uninteresting and uninspired advertising. This campaign just stinks. I give it 1 out of 5 stars. Come on Whole Foods, you can do better than this.
Blah blah blah… Stop preaching. The Tagline’s worse than the body copy, though. “Shop like you deserve it” This isn’t a high-end salon or fancy boutique.
That’s a lot of words for basically saying nothing, could’ve just said “We’re fast.” It would have been simpler and more engaging than this pseudo-story about taking personal calls at work. I also really enjoyed the grossly under exaggerated wait times, since the lines at Whole Foods move slower than 110 year old lady without her walker.
The campaign does, however, have one saving grace: It’s the only reason they even got one star.
Even though this billboard isn’t part of the previous campaign I included it because it puts the rest to shame. I actually really like this one.
